Episode 009: No Complaints

The Turning Cart Wheels Podcast:

Episode 009: No Complaints

512px-Complaint_Department_Grenade

In this week’s show we discuss something we’ve likely all done and that is venting to a coworker. Otherwise known as… airing complaints.

In this Solo Format Show I discuss:

  • The nature of venting… is it good? is it bad? Is it both?
  • What should we consider before we vent?
  • What are some alternatives to venting or ways to get out in front of things so we won’t feel the need to vent so much?

ERRATA: I refer to the 15 minute Journal… it’s the 5 Minute Journal ALSO I call it the “25 day No Complaint Challenge” it’s actually “The 21 day No complaining experiment” my apologies! Check the resources links below for the correct info.

Episode 008: Working Through It

My schedule this past week was overflowing with work related activities so it made me realize.. I’m not getting an episode out by my usual deadline of Thursday because…well work. Which caused me to realize although we talked about defining what Fun is we never really talked about what… WORK is. So this week I’m going to take a half step backwards and talk a little bit about work in the context of this show as well as some of my own personal thoughts about it. Also in Airplane mode I’ve been reflecting on how stressful things have been and… surprisingly how stressful they HAVEN’T been.

In this Solo Format Show I discuss:

  • The nature of work and where the line between work and fun starts to blur
  • Airplane Mode: How I’m getting through my stressful month of March thus far AND the inevitable counterculture reaction to Mindfulness

This week the show is brought to you by THE GRAWLIX PODCAST: http://grawlixpodcast.com
